Love it. What can I say? Though it would be nice if I have gone to a lot of place and post up and share to people where I been and done there.
Blog Prompts:
Did you like Flickr's geotagging feature?
Yes, I do. I done so much in MN that I feel I need to get out the state more and share it with everyone. Of course, that won't happen any time soon after college or when I get merry.
Did you explore any of the other geotagging services? How did they compare to Flickr?
No, I have not. I will once I figure out to use geotagging, perfectly.
How will you use this tool either personally or professionally?
Share people where I have been or projects that I have done in that area.
Why would anyone ever want to geocache? Seriously, why? What is wrong with these people?
Yeah, they want to share where they have been and done. For everyone, or to family and friends. Or for fun.

Thing 16: Geotagging

2. Which of the directories did you find easiest to use?
podcast.com
3. Has this Thing inspired you to do any podcasting yourself or to subscribe to a podcast to listen to it regularly?
Hecks, yeah. Now I don't have to listen the commercial or music. I can listen to other things that is interest me in my ipod. Not only that I don't have to constant check on the internet to know "it" is update or not. (RSS doesn't count)
4. If Walt Whitman were alive today (which I am certain that he is not), do you think he'd podcast? If so, what would he call his podcast? Would his parents listen to it? Why or why not? Discuss.
Poet. I don't know. I think so. Knowing that he is a well know an American poet, essayist, journalist, and humanist. I think he would call his podcast "Influential by mine poets" or "View" I don't know. I have to so some research to understand the type of person he is.
Thing 14: Research Project Calculator
Wow, the "Research Project Calculator" is amaze. I like it. I don't think I need it. The method I been doing for these past 10 years has not fail me, yet. I might use it in the future. It does help organize day to day (week by weeks).
Blog Prompts
Which of the two calculators seems better suited for your research work here at Ai Minnesota? Why?
At first I thought "Research Project Calculator" was a better suited for my research at Ai but that just me as WDIP major. Most of the assignment I have done so far are videos, PowerPoint, and essay. As a whole, "University of Minnesota Assignment Calculator" has to be the best choice. It has list all all major and subject. But again, both of them are good use to help calculate your time for homework or projects.
How might the RPC and the Teacher Guide help you manage research projects?
Layout your timeline.
Assuming you'll graduate from Ai MN someday -- can you think of any uses for personal or professional projects—could you use any of these tools to help manage a timeline for a project of your own?
Of course, as WDIM major, there are a lot of layer and step that involve to make the website. From design layout, HTML, CSS, PHP, information, image, time, etc. . . Having these site it help alot.

None, I choose not to do it. Personal, I have to many new account I create. I don't like it. It great idea to have online Calendars and Organizers. I prefer the old style. Write them down on calendars or on my phone. Why? Because these two thing are the only two thing I carry. Plus, I don't have a lot of thing in my life beside work, school, and family.
2. Did you find a tool that has some uses for you at school or at home? Which tool(s) would you recommend to others?
The tools are good for school and work. Is not for me. I can't really say. Everyone is different. If I have to choose, then it would be Google desktop or backpack. You can customize and change color of their chose or image.
3. How can the online calendars be useful to you?
If you have internet connection, you can access it. When you away from you desk or home. Just by click you go that place and find it. Or it send it to you e-mail to let you know. If I was one of those people that constant checking their e-mail every hour and day, it is very useful. I am not. I do not carry my laptop or any electronic with me everyday beside my cell phone and ipod.
4. What about the to-do lists—helpful, too much work…?

No, from the video tour. It look nice. I think I might use it after college. Right now, I don't have a lot things going on. When I do find a job and more things to do I might use it.
6. Did you try any of the other tools in the list? Any good ones we should all try?
I can't say. They all good. Like I say I don't like it. I don't like thing popping on my desktop or e-mail. Alerting me about important days or time. I rather do the old fashion way. Through my phone and planner books. So far, so good. My GPA is above average. I get my homework and project done.
Thing 12: Tagging and Del.icio.us
LOVE IT. Just love this site "Del.icio.u" I tell you the first time I was introduce to this site. I fall in love with it. I use it everyday at school, home, and work. I don't have to copy it to blanket notepad or words of the url or search it in the history page. In the end, I end up losing them. It easy and fast.

Thing 10: More Flickring Around

Like I saw in my previous "Things" blog. I love it. It so easy to use. Upload, change it, and share it. Most of the thing Ai mention on their "16 things" I already knew and use it.
Consider how you can use these tools in your assignments, professionally or for self-promotion.
Alot, you can share project and homework I have done during college and share it online. Everyone can see even the professionally might cross them and might hire me work for them.
What do you think of sharing photos online? Consider copyright and licensing issues.
Good and bad. Anyone can upload and share. As well, lie or claim it their. Honestly, I don't post my work online. Because I tend to throw them away or lost files.
